Final Portfolio: Software list

Throughout the production of our music video, we relied on various software tools to ensure smooth communication, efficient editing, and high-quality visuals. For communication, we primarily used Instagram and WhatsApp to stay updated on every step of the project. WhatsApp allowed us to coordinate in real-time, ensuring that everyone was in the loop with each decision, while Instagram was used to share reels of inspiration and ideas that aligned with our creative vision. On days when we didn’t meet in person, we also used Google Meet for virtual discussions to keep the project moving forward.

For video editing, Muhjah chose iMovie as our primary software, as it provided a simple and effective platform for assembling our footage. When it came to designing the digipak, we combined multiple tools to achieve the best results. I used Adobe Photoshop for editing and color grading the images to ensure they matched the visual aesthetic of our music video. However, for assembling the final layout and adding text, I opted for Canva, as it was more user friendly and efficient for design work. By using this mix of software, we were able to streamline our workflow and ensure that each element of the project came together seamlessly. Lastly, Raaniya used Google Docs and Good Notes to work on the script & storyboard etc as they were the easiest to navigate.
