For my final project, I have decided to produce a music video, utilizing techniques we’ve explored in the last year, including mise-en-scène, sound, editing, and camera work. This project will feature entirely original content, allowing me to apply what I’ve learned through preliminary exercises designed to sharpen my past filmmaking skills and enhance my understanding of visual storytelling in music videos.

                                                    Understanding Media Studies:

Media studies is all about looking closely at how TV, movies, ads, and social media affect us. It examines how the media shapes our thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Through studying media, we can gain insights into how messages are constructed, disseminated, and received. It involves analyzing various forms of media such as television, film, advertising, and social media to understand their impact on society and culture. This exploration helps us understand the role of music videos in shaping trends and reflecting societal values.
